How Saint Michael's Hospice is funded
It’s amazing how much can be achieved with donations from people like you.
One in three people in the Harrogate district will be touched by hospice care at some point in their lives. Without these services, people could be left to face the complex issues and forgotten challenges of terminal illness alone.
However, as a local charity, we can only care for as many people as we have the funds to help. We currently spend £5million a year providing local hospice care and training other organisations to offer hospice standard care - 80 per cent of this work is funded by the individuals, companies, trusts and foundations who support us.

- Shop in one of our community shops, which raise more than £800,000 towards supporting the service we deliver
- Whether you are an individual, business, trust or foundation, the donations we receive from you and the fundraising you do is what enables Saint Michael's Hospice to continue to care.
