One in four of our patients is cared for thanks to a gift left in a will.
About Us
Our team strives to enhance local standards in end of life care, reach more people and improve the lives of as many families as possible affected by cancer or other terminal illnesses.
We are doing this in a variety of different ways, from the more tangible, such as the direct care and support we offer, to the less visible, such as our work influencing local and regional end of life care strategy.
In our opinion the best possible end of life care means access to free, equitable services, offered in an environment of the patient’s choice, where difference and inclusiveness are valued and where every individual is treated with dignity and respect.
We are a local charity that serves a population of nearly 160,000 people living across the Harrogate district. We want every person in the Harrogate district to have access to this type of care, should they need it.
That is why we are keen to collaborate with other professionals and share our knowledge, to ensure this care is available no matter what illness a person is living with or where they are receiving care.
