Vantage boosts hospice outreach support

Long-standing supporter of local hospice care, Vantage Motor Group have boosted the outreach support available to local people with the generous loan of a brand new Toyota Aygo. 
Thanks to the support from Vantage, the Saint Michael’s Outreach Team, a group of professionals made up of made up of the charity’s occupational therapist, physiotherapist, chaplain, and social workers, specially trained volunteers and other hospice professionals, will be able to reach out and deliver specialist care services to local people who wish to stay in the comfort of their own home for as long as possible.

Chief Executive of Saint Michael’s, Tony Collins, said: “We would like to thank Vantage for their ongoing support of Saint Michael’s, and highlight how the generous loan of this new vehicle will enable the charity to make an even greater impact.
“The Aygo will enable the Saint Michael’s Hospice Outreach Team to visit more patients and their families wherever they call home, providing the responsive, high quality support they need, want and deserve.

“As a hospice care charity at the heart of the community, Saint Michael’s relies upon the amazing support of local individuals and businesses like Vantage in order to continue providing our specialist services.”

Vantage is also a member of Saint Michael’s Guild of Patrons, a select group of local and regional businesses offering £15,000 of financial support over a three year period to secure the hospice’s future.
