Donated delights at Station Parade
Each one of our 12 community shops is a unique retail destination, selling high-quality second-hand items; when you buy something in a Saint Michael’s store, you are often also buying the story of its donation.
We recently stopped by our shop at 7 Station Parade to catch up with the team, and to browse the donated delights they currently have in stock.
From a well-loved collection of Charlie Bears, a sterling silver Victorian era-esque hair tidy, a necklace made of beads of lava and an array of vintage vinyl, there are many interesting and exquisite pieces hidden away in this shop – with stories to match!
What’s more, the shop is offering 50% off all items (excluding media, books and LPs) until Monday March 5, so if you’ve been feeling the restrictions of this cold weather, why not escape the snow and pop down to Station Parade this weekend. With a huge variety of clothing, hats and shoes in stock, you could wrap yourself up in a bargain!
Combined our shops help us raise £800,000 each year toward the vital services Saint Michael’s offers to local people living with terminal illness and bereavement.
