1. From SKIPTON. Enter
Harrogate on A 59, and at and junction with A 61 (Gasometer on Right) go
straight across island (2nd exit) and up hill. Proceed along Skipton Road
through numerous sets of traffic lights to major traffic island, proceed across
island (2nd exit) on A 661 towards Wetherby. At next major traffic lights (BP
garage on left, Woodlands Pub on right) turn RIGHT. Proceed along Hookstone
Drive, past John Fisher School, and at next traffic lights turn LEFT
(sign-posted to Hornbeam Station and Saint Michael's Hospice). Continue to end
of road and follow signs to hospice.
2. From RIPON. Enter
Harrogate on A 61, and after passing through KILLINGHALL at the first island
(Gasometer on Right) turn LEFT (1st exit) and up the hill. Proceed along
Skipton Road through numerous sets of traffic lights to major traffic island,
proceed across island (2nd exit) on A 661 towards Wetherby. At next major
traffic lights (BP garage on left, Woodlands Pub on right) turn RIGHT. Proceed
along Hookstone Drive, past John Fisher School, and at next traffic lights turn
LEFT (sign-posted to Hornbeam Station and Saint Michael's Hospice). Continue to
end of road and follow signs to hospice.
3. From LEEDS.
Approach Harrogate along A 61, and pass through Pannal/Spacey Houses. On
entering suburbs of Harrogate road goes up steep hill with 2 lanes of traffic.
At next traffic lights (Nidd Vale Garage on right), turn right. Proceed over
railway bridge and at next traffic lights (50 meters) turn RIGHT (sign-posted
to Hornbeam Station and Saint Michael's Hospice). Continue to end of road and
follow signs to hospice.
4. From BRADFORD.
Approach Harrogate on A 658, at junction with A 61 turn left at traffic island
to join A 61. Pass through Pannal/Spacey Houses. On entering suburbs of
Harrogate road goes up steep hill with 2 lanes of traffic. At next traffic
lights (Nidd Vale Garage on right), turn right. Proceed over railway bridge and

5. From A 1 South.
Leave A1 at Wetherby/Harrogate exit and follow A 661 through Wetherby and
Spofforth. At traffic island with A 658 go straight across (2nd exit). Proceed
past Sainsburys and North Yorkshire Showground on left. At next major traffic
lights (BP garage on right, Woodlands Pub on left) turn LEFT. Proceed along
Hookstone Drive, past John Fisher School, and at next traffic lights turn LEFT
(sign-posted to Hornbeam Station and Saint Michael's Hospice). Continue to end
of road and follow signs to hospice.
6. From A1(M) North.
Leave A1(M) at junction with A 59 (York/Harrogate Road) and follow signposts
towards Harrogate/Knaresborough. At 1st island straight across (2nd exit), and
next island straight across (2nd exit). At 3rd island (junction with A 661)
turn right (3rd exit) towards Harrogate. Proceed past Sainsburys and North
Yorkshire Showground on left. At next major traffic lights (BP garage on right,
Woodlands Pub on left) turn LEFT. Proceed along Hookstone Drive, past John
Fisher School, and at next traffic lights turn LEFT (sign-posted to Hornbeam
Station and Saint Michael's Hospice). Continue to end of road and follow signs
to hospice.
