Make a Will Month 2017
Saturday April 01, 2017
Each April, Saint Michael’s makes it simple and straightforward for you to safeguard the future of the people and things you care about with our popular Make a Will Month campaign.
|Description||Making your will with a solicitor is the best way to ensure your wishes are met, and the people and things you care about are looked after.|
This April local solicitors are waiving their professional fees in favour of a donation to Saint Michael’s.
There’s never been a better time to safeguard the things that matter to you. And what's more, your donation will help us to offer care, comfort and support to local people living with terminal illness and bereavement.
How your donation could help:
£160 could help Saint Michael's to visit five people living with a terminal illness, supporting them to stay in their own home for as long as possible.
£250 could help five people to spend a day at the hospice and have the important chance to be themselves and meet other people in a similar situation, while getting the specialist support they need.
£500 could help someone access a 10-week package of day therapy, where our team will listen to what is important to them, and work to help them achieve their goals where possible.

Make a gift to Saint Michael's
When making a will, many people choose to support causes they feel passionate about, including Saint Michael's.
Supporters choose to support us in this way because leaving a gift in a will has such a positive impact on the care available to people in our community affected by terminal illnesses.
One in five patients in cared for thanks to a gift left in a will - such gifts play an important role in ensuring we can care for people today, tomorrow and in years to come.
