The 2.6 Challenge
Sunday April 26, 2020
The 2.6 Challenge is a nationwide fundraising campaign launching on Sunday April 26.
|Organiser||Saint Michael’s Hospice|
|Description||The 2.6 Challenge was created following the postponement of many events due to COVID-19, and is launching on Sunday 26 April.|
This was the date scheduled for the 2020 London Marathon – so the organisers are encouraging people to take part in The 2.6 Challenge on that date instead!
It’s open to anyone, doing an activity which suits their skills and their circumstances – based around the numbers 2.6 or 26. However, of course it must follow the government guidelines on social distancing and exercise during this pandemic.
There are so many ways to be imaginative and enjoy your challenge...
...from cycling 2.6 miles, to drawing 26 daisies for your window, or video calling 26 friends in 2.6 hours wearing a top hat.
You really can do anything which you feel your friends or family would like to sponsor, or you can donate yourself if you prefer.
