Step out with us for a magical sponsored 5K trail through historic Knaresborough, celebrating light, life and love. Carry a lantern, and welcome the springtime, on an evening to treasure in support of your hometown hospice.

Carry a lantern and come together with friends and family for a sponsored trail like no other. Our breathtaking 5k route twinkles with lanterns and features gentle music, bursts of colour, and views of historic Knaresborough as the sun goes down...
Whether you choose to walk in tribute to someone special, or just for fun, you'll be making a big difference to families living with terminal illness and bereavement right here in our community.
Earlybird sign-up is now available until February 15 at just £10 (£15 thereafter). Concessions for children.
Our beautiful glass lanterns, are available for £5 each.
The Twilight Walk is a non-competitive, untimed 5K sponsored trail around Knaresborough. The evening is the perfect way to make memories in tribute to a loved one or, walk for fun with friends and family. Prepare to be immersed in historic vistas illuminated by the glow of lanterns, and enjoy shared moments of music and reflection.
It promises to bring fun, fellowship and feel-good factor, with this year’s trail featuring all the magic and memories of last year, but with even more sparkle. The trail will start and end at King James's School, Knaresborough. En route, walkers will enjoy iconic landmarks by twilight, bathed in the warm of illumination, united in support of your hometown hospice. It's the perfect evening out for everyone, with picturesque views, entertainment and refreshments.
Each step you take on this beautiful 5k trail will help Saint Michael’s to provide vital care and support to families living with terminal illness and bereavement across the Harrogate district. When you take part in this very special walk, the sponsorship you raise helps Saint Michael's continue shining brightly in our community. This means being here for local families when they need us most, offering a light in the darkest hour.
By pledging to raise sponsorship, or making a donation, you'll be showing your love for your hometown hospice. What is more, when you raise £100 or more, you'll receive a beautiful keepsake ceramic heart lantern to remind you of your achievement.

|Sponsorship||There is no minimum sponsorship but we ask that our walkers raise as much personal sponsorship as possible to support local people living with terminal illness and bereavement. If you raise £100 or more, we'll say thank you with a beautiful ceramic hearts lantern for you to keep and treasure. You may also donate in lieu of raising sponsorship.|
