One in four of our patients is cared for thanks to a gift left in a will.
How can I access these services?
Our care is available to people living in the Harrogate district, including residents of the towns of Boroughbridge, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon, Pateley Bridge and Wetherby and those living in the more rural areas of the district. All our services are free for patients and their families or carers. We provide care for people aged 18-years-old and upwards.
If you think you could benefit from using a Saint Michael’s service, please talk to your GP, district nurse, specialist nurse, consultant or any other healthcare professional involved in your care about your options. If you are already accessing a Saint Michael’s service, and think you could benefit from another, we encourage you to speak to a member of our patient care team about the possibility of accessing another.
If you are a health or social care professional wishing to refer someone to Saint Michael’s, please download and complete the appropriate referral form and return it to Saint Michael’s Hospice. On receipt of this form we will consider your referral based on need. The speed of admission can be affected by the availability of a service or the nature of the person’s illness.
