Saint Michael's Inpatient Care
A stay at Saint Michael’s Hospice inpatient unit can help people living with terminal illness by offering:
- relief from persistent symptoms such as pain, tiredness, difficulty breathing etc
- a planned respite stay so that family or carers can have a break
- care during the last weeks and days of their lives
Whilst staying at our inpatient unit, at our Hospice, in Crimple Valley, Harrogate, patients and their families have access to our team of experts, including consultants in palliative medicine, nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, bereavement counsellors, complementary therapists, dieticians and chaplains.
The Saint Michael’s inpatient unit is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Day therapy is free to patients and their families and is available to people living in the Harrogate district, who are 18 years old and upwards.
