Lymphoedema Support

Lymphoedema is a type of swelling that occurs when the body’s lymphatic drainage system becomes blocked or damaged.

Saint Michael’s offers specialist help and support to individuals living with terminal illness who are affected by this condition. We help patients to understand their condition and offer treatment and advice on how they can successfully control their lymphoedema and minimise the effect it has on their life.

Saint Michael’s is the only organisation in the Harrogate district offering this service. We offer care for this condition from our community clinics. as well as our Hospice, at Crimple Valley, Harrogate.

All our services are free to patients and their families and are available to people living in the Harrogate district, who are 18 years old and upwards.
